If we’re being honest, nobody is a 100% sane especially if you live in Lagos. I can’t imagine someone leaving their house in the morning and not put on their garment of ment.

Asides the fact that being an entity in Lagos can make you go bananas (um poco loco) if you know what I mean. Protecting our mental health is also imperative. I mean, we are all going through a lot. Me, a lot. You, a lot. Gbogbo wa, a lot. We also need to know that we do not have the power to control everything that goes on in our lives. A wise man once said;

“Overthinking no fit solve problem”

Frankly speaking, as I dey like this I fit think for the whole Nigeria. Is it okay? nope but I can’t help it. That doesn’t mean i’m not working on it sha. If they are circumstances beyond my control, i’ll just leave it to God. I go still think am sha but still.

If you’re struggling with mental health issues, believe me, it is not to be taken lightly. You matter, do not think otherwise. You are intensely and immensely loved by your family and your friends. I love you sha just so you know. It might not seem like people understand what you are going through but learning to fight to feel and/or become better is always the better option.

Imagine say you tell your mama say you dey depressed, the next thing you meet yourself for one church why them dey use broom flog the nonexistent devil for your body comot.

I know what you’re thinking. who would bully a whole 6’2 tdb (Tall Dark and Beautiful) babe like me. Lmao, they don’t matter, not anymore. I am way past it. I have learnt that if anyone has a problem with my body or how I look, boya kon ko si odo abi they should go and hug transformer, respectfully.

Just take this life easy, i’ll like to correct the YOLO ( you only live once) narrative. You LIVE everyday and you DIE once. You no be Jesus. So please, if you’re going through anything at all. You are not a burden, please speak up. The world is a better place with you in it.
